June 2009 - Concept IT offers free selection and competency interviewing workshops to clients Concept IT is offering free selection and competency based interviewing workshops to all its clients. The workshops are specifically designed to give hiring managers the ability to conduct structured competency based interviews but also ensure interviews are unbiased and comply with Equality and Diversity guidelines.
Our research indicates that over 70% of managers have never received any formal training in how to conduct competency based interviewing, yet managers are naturally expected to make the right decisions when hiring staff. Research also shows that hiring managers are eight times more likely to hire superior performers using competency-based selection than through traditional interview techniques.
One of the key issues facing today's Hiring Managers is that candidates can learn how to conduct themselves well during the interview process but this may not give a true reflection on their ability to do the job. Concept IT recruitment is offering our clients Free Selection and Competency Based Interview Workshops that are specifically designed to help managers decide if the candidate can not only interview well, but also has the key competencies to succeed in the role.
Chris Short, Managing Director of Concept IT comments "we have already have had a large number of HR and line managers booking spaces on these workshops. These clients are looking to ensure they have all of the knowledge to ensure they hire superior performers".
Workshops will be run in both the Midlands and London over the course of June, July and August. Should you be interested in receiving further information or booking a date please contact Emily Bird on 0844 800 6600 or
